Prices range from £3.50 to £45, with the average cost around £10. All prices are fully inclusive of everything you need to complete your piece of pottery i.e. paints, brushes, glazing and firing.
No, prices are all fully inclusive. There are no studio fees or other complicated charges, the price you see is the price you pay. We like it simple and easy with no worries.
You only need to bring your imagination. Oh! And a little bit of money helps too.
You can choose from over 150 different items of pottery to paint. 4x4 piggy banks to fairies, animal mugs to vases, there are things for boys, girls and even lots of stuff for the adults to paint.
Most people spend about an hour painting their pottery but don't rush because there is no time limit. You can even come back another time to finish off your piece. Big groups and parties do take longer at about 2 hours.
We usually fire once or twice a week so you can usually pick up the following week. During busy times we fire more often so do ask on the day for a more accurate date.
We can send your finished piece to you by Royal Mail but the cost varies depending on weight and size so please ask for more details in store.
Not usually but we do get very busy on weekends so it is always worth a quick call if you are travelling a long way. Note: Private parties can book out the shop for 2 hours at a time.
10am till 5pm Monday to Sunday*. We are nearly always open but very occasionally we do take the odd day off so if you are travelling far please do call us to check that we are open before setting out.
Definitely not, we have loads of adults who come in a paint and if you brought the kids why not join in, its great fun. We have also had very successful corporate events and even hen nights so there is something for everyone.
Yes we do, if you would like to come in after 5pm give us a call and we will book you in. This service is mainly for group booking but we do make exceptions where we can. Its not a rule but the minimum spend for an individual booking after hours is £35
There are 2 large car parks very close to the Art to Art shop.
There aren’t any steps into the shop and the floor is flat.
There is space at the front of the shop for prams but it fills up fast when we are busy.
Yes we can, just pick the item you want and tell the artist in store what you want and they will give you a price. Commissions may take a few days to do, especially if we are very busy but we will tell you in advance.

No problem, its so easy you don’t need to be artistic to make something that looks great. There is always a fully trained artist on hand to help guide and inspire you. Lots of books and painted examples available to look at for inspiration. Strangely enough the least artistic people produce some of the most striking and dramatic pieces so don’t hold back.
